Just as in Exodus 25 God told Moses to command the children of Israel to design and build the furniture such as the ark of the covenant, the table of shewbread, the seven-branched menorah or candlestick and the rest of the instruments and furniture. And whereas in Leviticus Aaron and his 4 sons were named in Leviticus the instructions for their charge of the priesthood to the generations to come were given in Numbers 3.
