Both 1Samuel 16 and Zechariah 2 mention choosing, Whereas God chose David to be the king in 1Samuel 16, the 16th book of the 2nd Cycle of the Biblewheel Zechariah 1 and 2 reaffirm Deuteronomy 16 that he has chosen Jerusalem and mount Zion as the place to set his name. Nehemiah 9 the 16th book of the 1st Cycle of the Biblewheel also mentions this.
